To train young persons and adults who are part of a charitable social group, either registered as a charity or not, to be competent first aiders, at a low cost or no cost and to supply where necessary event cover for such groups to enable them to hold fundraising events

Background Information

• East Midlands Training Services is a Limited Liability Partnership,
  registered in England and Wales with Company Number OC320812

• Provides training and event cover to any person or group.

• From 2001 to 2006 it has operated on an ad hoc basis funded separately by both partners full time work, delivering training at a low or no cost to a few charitable organisations, and companies or individuals that could afford normal training prices.

• In 2006 both partners completed their ‘Instructor Trainer’ package
  and joined together forming East Midlands Training Services.

The Company is able to delivery not only basic First Aid training but many specialised training packages related to first aid.

These include:- Primary & Secondary Care (Emergency Aid for Appointed Persons),
First Aid at Work, Care for the Children (both 6 hours and the12 hours Sure Start course), Oxygen Therapy, Entonox, Automated External Defibrillator and Manual Handling.

Other courses are being developed and registered.
