Students on this course are expected to comply with the policy of their work place in the use of a BM machine.

The course gives you both the skills to enable the person to take a blood glucose reading on a BM machine and the knowledge to understand the reading. It also covers emergency first aid to treat a diabetic emergency and gives an insight into the effects of having diabetes.
